Roger is a North Carolina native who, after four years in New York City, found in Ithaca the home that combined the best of both worlds. He adores the Finger Lakes Region, where the hills and valleys remind him of growing up at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, but he also relishes all that Ithaca has to offer. After working in retail, teaching young children, and more recently, supporting the needs of those with developmental disabilities, he looks to use the lessons and skills he's developed in working with a wide range of people to help home buyers and sellers in the Ithaca market. Roger has always focused on matching individuals with what they need and want, or what works best for them. He is a Southerner in his no-nonsense warmth and generosity with his time and expertise. He is energetic, focused and determined, and he will be personally invested in helping you meet your goals. You can count on him not to be satisfied until you are satisfied. Roger enjoys cooking, golf, photography, movies, music, hikes, travel, and a myriad of other activities. His culinary feats have won him great favor, while his golf game keeps him humble. Married seven years to his wife Sara (an administrator at Cornell), he looks to the adventures in life with a partner who challenges and complements him. Roger loves his CSA at Sweet Land Farm and his favorite pork purveyor, Sarah at Autumn’s Harvest Farms, the Friends of the Library Book Sale, the Johnson Art Museum, and stargazing at the Fuertes Observatory. You might catch him noshing at Agava, where his best friend from North Carolina is Chef de Cuisine or enjoying sushi, pho, or anything from a hot wok. Roger and Sara found the home just right for them in Mecklenburg, where he mows a pasture-sized lawn surrounded by century old trees but is still just minutes away from Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Trumansburg. He looks forward to helping you find the right real estate for your family, or the right buyer for the home you own.
