Linda is a Pacific Islander who came to Ithaca by way of NYC. She has roots in Michigan, Hawaii, and Guam, USA, “Where America’s Day Begins!” Formerly licensed in the 90's, she began her practice here in 2007 with a deep appreciation for the business and what it means to both buyers and sellers to have a successful outcome.
She has completed advanced professional studies with NYU’s Real Estate Institute, and holds several additional NAR credentials: Accredited Buyer’s Rep., Sellers Representative Specialist, and Graduate of the Realtor Institute. She is a regular guest speaker at home-buying seminars for Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services, and enjoys sharing her understanding of the real estate process with new buyers, seasoned investors, and students of all ages.
Clients from 2015 offered the following insight on working with Linda:
“Linda is very professional and very easy to work with. She helped us prepare for what is traditionally a very stressful process and offered advice and sometimes just listened to our concerns. We were especially impressed with her initial presentation and the amount of work she did to help us set our selling price and then guided us on the best way to prepare for potential buyers. We would definitely recommend Linda if you are considering selling or buying a home!” Seller, 2015 “We relocated to Ithaca, NY and Linda quickly helped us to understand the market. She listened to our needs and was extremely proactive in showing us homes that reflected our budget and personal preferences. She helped us to find our "dream home," and worked hard to make sure that all the details were attended to so that we could close quickly. Linda really understands the local market, and has unmatched energy in helping her clients. We highly recommend her.” Buyer, 2015 (More reviews on Zillow & Trulia).
Prior to re-engaging in the business of Real Estate, Linda had an active and highly successful Personal Training practice in NYC with Equinox Health Clubs at 19th and Broadway. She contributed advice regularly to fitness column writers for Vogue, Allure, Marie Claire, and Women’s Day. A few special assignments emerged during this time, by far the most memorable was being approached by agents for multiple Grammy winner James Taylor, to accompany his entourage on a 5-month, 30-city U.S. tour as Personal Trainer and Asst. Tour Manager. Conclusion: James is still amazing; the touring life is not for her but she still loves to kick butt in the gym!
